Mercedes benz uses a heated washer fluid reservoir so hot coolant can melt the washer fluid in extremely cold temperatures. To keep the pump in good running condition keeping the coolant reservoir full of fluid a big help. One thing to be careful about is mounting the reservoir higher than the hose exit as an intercooler sprayer.
